My belief is that family should always be there for you, no matter what happens to you. Also that family should always be there for the rest of your family. I've had many moments in my life where my family has been there for me. I've had a couple deaths, and tragedies, then there are those moments where you are completely happy or depressed. Some people don't have a family like this and it's completely horrible. I'm just lucky my family isn't like that, and they do care about what I do and what happens.
When I was about 5 yrs old I was in my bathroom. My mom come's in and says that my puppy who at the time was extremely strong, and hyper got hit by a car. My grandparents came down because my mom had called them, to watch me, of course I was upset because I wanted to see my dog. As my mom and my oldest cousin Tommy went down I tried to run but my grandpa snatched me up and wouldn't let go. I stayed with my grandparents while my parents went to the vet to put him down, the whole time my grandma was trying to calm me down but it didn't work because in my gut I knew that he was going to die. After that day my parents were always trying to distract me making sure they didn't bring my dog up because they knew that they were going to have to deal with me getting upset. That was until I got my cat about a year later. I named her Bubbles after the blue power puff girl. I used to love that show. Getting her was one of the happiest days ever. I wouldn't stop touching her, carrying her. Until we left that Saturday night to go to my grandma's. She was all I talked about that night. During that time my family was there 100% for me beacause it was really hard for me and them, so they stayed strong as they helped me through it. Another time my family was there for me was when I was 8 yrs old my brother had a problem and he had to be in the hospital 24/7. It was a really hard time for me, meaning that my parents were always at the hospital so basically I had to jump from house to house, one night my grandma's the next my aunt and uncle's. They would always tell me how he was going to be okay and how he'll be home soon. After a while he was, I was so excited the day he came home. That whole time people were telling me, Adriene no matter what happen he'll be home soon. All you have to do is pray for him and god will work his magic. I really believed it so I prayed, believed that he would be okay. Sooner or later he was.
This I Believe, family should always be there for you, when a pet dies and when you get a new one or when a sibling is sick and has to be hospitalized until they get better. Family members will always tell you everything is okay, that no matter what happens everything will be fine. It's so hard on people that don't have what other people have. It truly is complicated if you don't have friends and family to support you 100 % of the way it could be really difficult.
